Position Description:

Essential Duties:

  • Serve as the LCBDD contact for Medicaid Administrative Claiming.
  • Send hours worked by Service Coordinators to Primary Solutions on a monthly basis for TCM productivity and other reporting.
  • Offer Medicaid support by running utilization reports, cost calculations and other Medicaid Waiver Services.
  • Maintain Title XX database and submit quarterly invoices.
  • Review revenue maximization.
  • Forward Electronic Payments (EFT’s) received via email from Treasurer’s Office to Primary Solutions for proper revenue coding. Once coded, prepare separate Pay In sheets by EFT deposit amount for the Licking County Auditor’s Office for processing via email. Enter final Pay In information into INFAL Revenue.
  • Work with Waiver support staff and Service Coordinators on Medicaid eligibility.
  • Serve as the coordinator / contact for Family Support Services. Process all FSS requests. Process and review all FSS for appropriateness.
  • Cross train on all payroll and payable / receivable duties and be proficient in performing such duties. Serve as backup to the Fiscal Specialist.

Job Prerequisites:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in business related field is preferred.
  • Experience in working with Waivers /Medicaid is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

Ability to:

  • Demonstrate high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Operate office equipment, such as computer, calculator, fax machine, and copier.
  • Handle multiple priorities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Use problem solving skills.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.

 

 

Knowledge of:

  • Math skills in order to perform the essential accounting functions, such as account balancing, ledger accounts, calculating percentages, and generating income/balance sheets.
  • Bookkeeping.
