Position Description:

Duties:  

  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
  • Promotes and maintains positive and effective working relationships and promotes good public relationships as a representative of Licking County Government.
  • Answers phones, takes messages as needed.
  • Manages business functions of department by maintaining fiscal records, payroll, purchase supplies and equipment and processes bills for payment.
  • Copies new cases daily at Prosecutor’s office.
  • Types, files departmental correspondence and documents
  • Processes mail.
  • Collect and Monitor all restitution
  • Assists the Administrator with the department and grant budgets
  • Ensures the specific duties of the Secretary I/Receptionist are completed in their absence.
  • Performs all other duties as requested by Administrator /Director /Deputy Director
  • Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures.
  • Remains informed of current developments and procedures pertinent to duties; may be required to attend seminars/training.
Brief Description:

Under the general supervision of the Adult Court Services Department Administrator /Director / Deputy Director to assist the Administrator, Director and probation department staff in all administrative and clerical matters.

Job Prerequisites:

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications (Agency/Dept. Qualifications):

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & other related software.
