Automatic Payment
Licking County Water and Wastewater offers our customers the opportunity to pay their water and sewer bills through their personal checking accounts. Fill out the request form (you can find this on our main page) and return it to us with a voided check. You will receive a confirmation letter from our office as to when your payment deduction will begin.
- Automatic Payment
- What bills can I pay through automatic deduction?
You can automatically pay Buckeye Lake Sewer, Prescott Estates Water and Sewer, and Harbor Hills Water.
- How will I know what amount is being taken out of my account?
You will receive a bill just as you do now. The deduction will also show on your bank statement.
- What if there is a problem with my bill?
Call or write us as soon as you receive the bill. We will make any corrections before we send it to the bank for collection. This will be on a case by case basis.
- What if I have an unusually large water bill?
We try to question unusually large bills before they go out. You will probably receive a telephone call from us to reread your water meter.
- Do I have to have an account at your bank to use this service and is there a charge?
No. Most banks, credit unions, savings and loans, and other financial institutions can participate in this program. There is no charge by us.
- Why are payments deducted from my account on the 10th of each month when the actual due date is the 15th?
By making the payment on the 10th we are able to correct any problems should there be complications with your checking account.
- What if I don’t have enough money in my account?
The payment is then treated as an insufficient check. You will be billed for the amount due plus the current insufficient fund charge and a late fee if applicable.
- I want to close my current checking account. How do I stop the automatic deduction?
Our office will need a 30-day written notification from the customer when a closed checking account is involved.
