Newark, OH – 3/13/2026 – Licking County is launching a process to undertake the County’s first countywide comprehensive plan in more than 25 years. The Plan will provide a coordinated, data-driven framework to manage growth, leverage community assets such as farmland and natural areas, align infrastructure investment, and guide long-term fiscal and economic sustainability.

Please see the attached Construction Notice, which we must submit to the OPSB when we make certain changes to our transmission facilities. The submission complies with Rule 4906-6-01, et. seq., of the Ohio Administrative Code.

To help with television recycling, Licking County Recycling is holding their first-ever TV Collection and Recycling event, starting on January 8, 2026 for Licking County residents (no businesses).
