Licking County Recycling Now Accepting Fluorescent Tubes for Recycling at Office

May 27, 2026 

Fluorescent tubes are now being accepted for recycling at the Licking County Recycling office, 295 Wilson Street in Newark. The office is open Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. Tubes must be either 4- or 8-foot in length, and unbroken.

Licking County Launches Comprehensive Planning Process

Newark, OH – 3/13/2026 – Licking County is launching a process to undertake the County’s first countywide comprehensive plan in more than 25 years. The Plan will provide a coordinated, data-driven framework to manage growth, leverage community assets such as farmland and natural areas, align infrastructure investment, and guide long-term fiscal and economic sustainability.
