It is the responsibility of both the old and new owner to contact us with the correct information using the Transfer of Account Form.
When a new buyer contacts us, we require the following information:
Since we bill after service is rendered, a final bill will be sent to the seller.
When a property sells and has water service, we will require a final reading of the water meter. The final billing will be based upon the reading from the inside meter and we will need to know if the service is to be shut off. An adult will need to be home at the time of the reading. We require a forty-eight (48) hour notice for scheduling purposes.
